Indian Premier League’s Kochi franchise has named its team ‘Indi Commandos Kerala’ .
Kochi franhise Explained the reason behind the name: “‘INDI’ stands for an independent Indian cricket team that will go ahead to win a billion hearts. ‘COMMANDOS’ stands for an elite fighting squad, renown for attacking with speed, stealth and deadly power.”
They also posted a comment on their Facebook page. “Our logo with the lightning motif stands for a team that moves with speed and sears through the opposition. The Indi Commandos will attack every opportunity on and off the field,” they said
However most of the fans are upset with this name , after waiting for so long to decide the name, they have come up with a silly name which will not help to reflect the brilliance of Kerala.
